Welcome to our cost of living support programme information

Our purpose

We heard a consistent voice from centre users and those who live near us that the cost of living crisis was having many negative effects on lives. There was a strong feeling that although we are a small organisation with limited resources we were well placed within the neighbourhood to make some difference.

Our approach

We will provide services which prevent and mitigate poverty within our community centre which is a trusted and safe place within our neighbourhood. In doing so we will work with external stakeholders as a network of service providers working to alleviate poverty.

Our outcome

Our service users feel valued, empowered and supported through the ongoing cost of living crisis.

This single outcome recognises that we cannot eradicate poverty alone. For some service users we will make only a small positive change in their circumstances whilst others may benefit from a longer term improvement. But, regardless of the extent to which we can help service users we want everyone to feel that they are important to us, that positive change can happen, and that we done our best to support them.

Our impact

We continuously monitor our impact using data and stories. We do this to make sure that we are making a positive difference to peoples lives.

We will regularly share the impact we have with our service users and others to demonstrate the difference that we are making in order to show that there is hope for people in need, and to demonstrate that we are reaching and helping those we need our services.
