We have four spaces available for hire, each of which is suitable for a wide array of uses.

Centre information

Lots of nearby streets, including Nicolson Street have on street parking available, some of which is pay and display.

We have free wifi throughout our centre however, please be aware that there are some limits on which sites can be accessed including social media and gambling based websites.

We are unable to offer secure bike parking. There are bike parking facilities (hoops) on the main street in front of the centre.

Bikes are not allowed in our building, e-bikes and e-scooters are not allowed in our building or grounds.

We have level access into our centre via our rear entrance door. 

This can be accessed via Quarry Close, or from Nicolson Street.

Once within the centre there is level access throughout.

A great number of bus services use bus stops within a two / three minute walk of the centre.

The following Lothian Buses services bring you to our community centre: 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 29, 30, 31, 33, 37, 47, 47B and 49.

The nearest tram stop to our community centre is St . Andrew Square.

No smoking or vaping is permitted within our building or grounds.

Dogs should not be brought into our building, or grounds, unless they are officially recognised assistance dogs.

Our standard lettings times are;

  • Monday to Thursday from 9am until 8:30pm.
  • Fridays from 9am until 3:30pm, then 5pm until 8:30pm.
  • Saturdays from 9:30am until 8pm.
  • Sundays from 9:30am until 6pm.

Booking information

Monday to Friday

  • Hall: £30 per hour
  • Room 1, room 2 and cafe: £15 per hour

 

Saturday and Sunday

  • Hall: £45 per hour
  • Room 1, room 2 and cafe: £20 per hour

 

Special offer

If our hall is booked for four hours or more, our room 1, room 2 and cafe can be booked at a lower rate of £8 per hour (Mon – Fri) or £10 per hour (Sat – Sun).

Our standard lettings times are;

Later opening can often be arranged, subject to staffing availability.

Changes

We will seek to accommodate any changes you wish to make to your booking. However, you should let us know at the earliest possible opportunity.

 

Cancelling

You should cancel any bookings that you no longer need at the earliest opportunity. You may still have to pay for some or all of your let, depending on how much notice you give us.

We accept cash, cheque or BACS payments for lettings.

Sometimes we ask for payment in advance, we will tell you if this is the case.
