What is a member?
Southside Community Centre Association SCIO is a two tier Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We are registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regular, registration number SC051544.
Our charity comprises of our membership, which is a group of people who share the ambitions of our charity and wish to show their support. Our members choose a group of members to act as Trustees of our charity. This group of Trustees are responsible for the day to day running of our organisation, accountable to members.
Our members are a key part of our charity, without whom our charity could not exist or function.
Membership benefits
The primary reason for becoming a member will usually always be to have a say in the management of our charity. But, we do offer some membership benefits;
- You will receive our monthly e-newsletter before it is shared with the general public
- We’ll share with you early bird opportunities which will allow you to book tickets and / or sign up for events and activities before the general public
- Exclusive discounts and special offers for our members only
- Exclusive members only activities and events over the course of the year
How to become a member?
Anyone who wishes to become a member must complete an application form, and make payment of five pounds or two pounds.
All 2025 memberships expire on 31 December 2025. And all 2026 memberships expire on 31 December 2026.

Once your application is received it will be considered by our Board of Trustees, and we’ll be in touch with you as soon as we can with the outcome.
