From time to time we are able to offer some adjustments to our regular tariff of room & hall hire. Details will appear on this page as and when such offerings become available.
Very low cost room & hall hire on Saturdays (November & December 2024, and January 2025)
To celebrate us moving to seven day a week opening we are offering very low cost room & hall hire on Saturdays for community activities.
Our rooms are available at only £4 per hour. With our hall available for only £8 per hour.
The small print;
- Bookings must take place on Saturdays, between 9:30am & 4:30pm, in November & December 2024, or January 2025.
- The activities / events taking place must be community ones.
- It must not cost participants more than a couple of pounds to take part.
- Bookings can be for one off events or activities, or a series of activities.

Make Space initiative (September 2024 to March 2025)
Thanks to funding from City of Edinburgh Council, distributed via The Creative Community Hubs Network, we are able to offer 42.5 hours of free room or hall space to artists, creatives and communities between September 2024 and March 2025.
Who can apply?
- Artists, practitioners, community members and interest groups, based in Edinburgh.
- Those looking to support artist development or community activities, importantly not
for commercial purposes (i.e. you cannot financially benefit from the hire of the
space(s)).
How to apply?
- Check that you are eligible for the free space (see above).
- Check that we have space available when you would need it by looking at our online diary (click here to view).
- If you are eligible, and we have space available when you need it, complete this form (click to download) and submit it to [email protected]. We’ll review your application and get back to you. If your application is successful we’ll send you the bookings paperwork needed to book the space/s you need.
